National Team Board (BTN) has prepared a series of trials agenda for the national team squad U-23. The national team will try a match against China, Japan, and Vietnam. This was conveyed by Deputy Head of Technical Board of the National Team (BTN), Iman Arif, as he watched the second selection U-23 national team in Field C, on Tuesday (11/01/2011) afternoon. Iman claims, the trial will be held in February. Caps will conduct trials against local teams before holding international trials.
"In the first week, the team will test against a local team. Then in the second week, they will face China, Japan, and Vietnam", said Iman Arief.
Iman said, the national training squad remained closed despite getting resistance from some clubs. Closed training cam will be held from March until the SEA Games was held in December.
"We continue to conduct long-term national training. The reason, it is better to do closed training camp and it should be with more complete players", said Iman.
